Statement of Faith
Rooted in Faith, Guided by Truth, Built for Purpose
The Old and New Testament are the inerrant and infallible Word of God. All Scripture is inspired by God used for His glory and to edify man. (Psalm 19:7-11; John 17:17; II Timothy 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:19-21)
There is one God that exists in three eternal persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, 5; Matthew 28:19, 20; John 10:30)
God created a perfect world in six literal days and rested on the seventh. He created man and woman in His likeness and specific gender roles for His plan. (Gen 1-2; 3:1-19, Ex. 20:11)
The fall of man through the temptation of Satan created a separation from God. Each human is born with the sinful nature from Adam and is not reconciled to God but through the belief of Christ’s person, life and work on the cross. (Genesis 3:1-7; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:9-19,23; 8:5-8; II Thessalonians 1:7-9)
Jesus is God’s only son who came from heaven to be born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus is 100% man and 100% God. He came and lived a sinless life to fulfill the Old Testament Law, performing miracles and setting an example of how to live a life that Glorifies God. (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14; Colossians 1:15-22; Hebrews 1:1-4; 7:25; Revelation 4:11; Luke 2:21; Philippians 2:6; Hebrews 4:15)
Jesus came to be our propitiation on the cross for our sins. He was wounded for our transgressions, buried and rose again three days later. He ascended into heaven and is sitting at the right hand of the Father. He will return someday to judge the living and the dead. (I John 2:2; 3:5; John 20:31; Luke 18:33)
·Salvation comes from Jesus Christ alone not by any works man does. Salvation redeems the sinner and is offered freely who pursue faith in Jesus Christ. Both the saved and unsaved will be resurrected. Those that believe in Christ will be resurrected to heaven and those who do not to eternal damnation. (John 3:16; 20:31; Acts 16:30-31; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:24; 5:1-2; 10:9)
The Holy Spirit is a part of the triune God Head. The Holy Spirit dwells in believers to direct and convict them. (John 3:5-8; 14:16-18; Acts 2:16-18)
Man’s chief goal is to glorify God in word and deed. (1 Corinthians 10:31; Isaiah 43:7; Matthew 5:14-16)
Changing gender is a lie created by Satan and man to fulfill a depraved agenda to confuse and distort what was created by God. (Matthew 19:4-5; Genesis 1:26-27)
Marriage is a sacred entity between a biological male and a biological female. It is a representation of Christ and his church. (Genesis 2:24; Romans 1:26-29; Ephesians 5:32)
The sanctity of life is a fundamental principle that acknowledges the inherent value and dignity of every human being, from conception to natural death. This belief calls us to cherish, protect, and respect the sacred gift of life in all its forms. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 129:13-14; Jeremiah 1:5)
